2nd September Downtown London

Old London Town turned on the weather, sunny and 25 degrees, glorious!

Buck took off at 7.00am after waking at 5am to the train station for info and any needed tickets !

He retuned with day passes on the underground, decided against the bus tour as walking was HIS AGENDA!

Our first stop was Waterloo station ,Chelsea and I broke into song,Waterloo I was defeated you won the war!!!(an ABBA classic!)

Up out of the underground forward ho onto Buckingham palace ! Eddison threw at least 2 pound in small change into the fountain opposite the palace!

Buck looked on ,there goes his inheritance!!

Down into St James park, gardens are beautiful,Eddison probably walked into a no go zone, but we didn't get caught!

Over the bridge and onto Travalgar Suare

Off to the Guard House to see the knights and their horses do their thing although along the way Buck thought he'd coax a squirrel over for Eddison,!Buck had no food so the squirrel bit him, quite viciously,to the extent that Buck shook him off his finger and said out loud,"the bastard bit me !

It was still bleeding later on in the day,put a smile on my face!!!

Papa Buck comes in handy for extra height! Eddison was in awe!

Over the bridge and onto Travalgar Square!

Excuse pics around wrong way ,not quite sure how to get them right side up!!! Turn your head and cope!!

See this ones fine, just to prove I am in London!

Stopped in at The Thirsty Bear for a cool ale, Chelsea and I have decided we will shandy ourselves around!

Buck our intrepid squirrel bitten tour guide led us to Broughton Markets for lunch, well worth it and then another shandy at The Globe pub on edge of market, built in 1872 ,reed the speel about its history ,interesting !

Back underground yet again but I'm telling you ,even though my shoes were comfy,I was feeling it! We ended up at St Paul's cathedral and Chelsea was impressed with my version of ," early each day to the steps of Saint Paul's a little ole bird woman comes.....la la la "!

Not impressed about the 16 pound each, they wanted to charge us to venture further inside the cathedral so we did a quick look around ,enough without paying out of principle to enter a church,Chelsea and Joel were in awe of its size!!

Our intrepid leader!!

Back on the train to the Clapham common and a well earned cool beverage!

Poor Eddison is feeling it,all he wants to do is sleep so I helped with the boys and Buck is having dinner with one of his old work associates!

Off to Poland tomorrow !
